SV Ilpendam. One can say that this was the first step into the challenging world of football. Little did I know, that starting a career in football would change my whole world.

During the trainings, it’s not only the skills that are important. No, it became quickly very clear to me that I, the person Nick, was in for some changes as well.

When you’re young, you only have your own goals in mind. Step onto the football field and making goals. But soon it down to me that working together is the key to win a game. Thank god we have trainers for that.

I have enjoyed playing at FC Ilpendam for over 5 years. During that time my passion for football has only grown stronger. Back then, as young as I was, I started to dream of a professional football career. I know, many young boys dream of such a career, but few succeed. The future will tell, I will put all my efforts into it.
